Welcome to the Discover Southwest NY Add Your Location Marketplace. Here you can make your business or organization part of the DiscoverSouthwestNY.com website. The Marketplace provides the interface for you to upload your location and pictures into the master database. Your location will be accessible on each page of the website in the mapping functionality. By joining you will be marketing to the thousands of people who use the website each week.

Signing up is easy and inexpensive. For just $39 and ten minutes time, your location will be added to the site and remain active for a full year. After a year you can renew your location for the next year, as well as be able to make any changes or upload new photos.

Signing up to Add Your Location is easy. Here's the process you'll go through, broken down into five easy steps.

Step 1: Registration Form

You will need to complete the registration screen with pertinent information about you/your business. For privacy information, please see the FAQ.



Step 2: Place Your Location

You will then be prompted to enter the address of the location you would like to add. Once entered, a dot will appear at the location on the map in the interface. You will have the ability to adjust the location of the dot by hovering your pointer over the dot, then dragging and dropping the dot wherever it should be located.



Step 3: Add Your Photos

Prior to beginning the Add Your Location process, you should have the digital photos you want to add on your computer. To add your photos, you will need to use the browse function to navigate to where each photo file resides on your computer. Step 4: Select Your Category

You will be prompted to select the "What" and "Where" options that best categorize your location. Up to three "What" categories can be selected. All Add Your Location points are also automatically included in the Sponsored Location category. Select the community in which the location is for the "Where" choice. This will automatically also include the corresponding county for your location.



Step 5: Payment

Once completed, you can proceed through the payment process. At this time we accept Visa and MasterCard. Payment is processed by Verisign on their secure server. For more information on security, please see the FAQ. Once the payment transaction is complete a confirmation page will appear. You are encouraged to print this page as it will act as your official receipt. Your submittal will be reviewed and posted live on the site within one week.
