A community is defined by all the individuals that live, work, and play together to create the fabric of that community. Another example is the I-86 Pride program where local communities adopt their interchange area along I-86 and beautify the area. Taking pride in their community and planting flowers and shrubs, these communities have become stronger.
Every community in Southwest NY has a variety of facilities that they provide their citizens. Libraries, senior centers, youth recreation, swimming pools, and ice rinks are a few examples.
