Workforce Education & Training

Southwest NY has long been noted as having a highly skilled and educated workforce. This, in large part, is due to the workforce education and training programs and organizations that exist within the region. These organizations work together, not competitively, to advance the workforce of the region. They meet as a consortium to collaborate on new programs, identify needs, and share ideas. Their motto is: Life-Long Learning - The Key to Being Competitive.

Beyond simply offering canned programs, they will also offer custom programs to suit the needs of an employer, assist in obtaining financial help for training, and consult with management to identify specific goals and needs.
