As home of the Seneca Nation of Indians, Southwest NY is also home to the Seneca Allegany Casino. The casino is a new facility, built and opened in 2004, a larger, permanent facility is currently under construction. The casino is located in Salamanca.
The casino features Class-I gaming with over 1,800 reel and video slot machines, as well as table games. The ever popular Texas Hold'em is available, as well as other traditional card games. Poker tournaments are held daily and the casino also has national tour tournaments each year. These include the World Series of Poker and the On The Border Poker Challenge.
High stakes bingo and video slot machines are available as well. These are located at separate facilities in Salamanca and Irving.
